Details, Details
Appearance: Spin's a light-skinned African American of average height (around 5’10” or 5’11”), and he buzzes down his dark hair very close to the skull—in lieu of the crazy hairstyles his coworkers prefer, he constantly sports a pair of large headphones. He’s broad-shouldered with an athletic build, and keeps as fit as he can. His dark brown eyes are completely hidden behind his green-tinted sunglasses, and he’s finally gotten used to the Agent uniform; a two-piece black suit with a black tie and white shirt (though he still fiddles with the tie from time to time). His shoes are expensive, high-class dance shoes, black and shined to perfection. Agents are equipped with small amounts of high-tech gear throughout their person, but it seems that none of it is of much use here.

Personality: Under normal circumstances, Spin is a very likable and relaxed individual. Ever the social creature, he feels best when interacting with others, and loves a good joke. He’s an upbeat, eager individual, who likes to help people out and learn new things. He’s a true extrovert, he gets energized by interacting with others, and can get a little bit depressed if on his own for too long. Music might as well flow through his veins; he’s always humming some tune or another, and even his speech tends to go into rhyme, or even song lyrics.

Unfortunately, when things get tense, Spin can very quickly fall apart. He trusts others easily, because he relies on their ability far more than he trusts his own. He has little confidence in himself, and if he doesn’t have people around to calm him down, he’ll very likely go into a nervous panic. His outgoing and eager nature is what keeps him together; the more time he spends with others and focusing on the outside world, the less time he spends over thinking things and worrying about his place.

Abilities: There’s a sort of rhythm to all life, and Spin listens to that beat when dancing; using that rhythm to cheer on others can inspire and motivate them to go above and beyond their goals, and to keep them energized far past their normal limits. Yet Manhattan’s streets seem completely, eerily devoid of the beat of life, thusly turning Spin into some guy in a suit who can dance really well. Since he’s gotten so used to that beat playing in the background of everything he hears, his hearing will likely be kind of wonky for a while.
On top of that, he can drive pretty much any land vehicle, he’s a real social butterfly when calm, and his memory is expansive.

Weaknesses: His self-confidence is extremely poor, and though he feels compelled to solve the problems of other people, he frequently fears that he will let people down. This becomes particularly bad in high-pressure situations; Spin can panic himself into a hole, if not kept in check. His clarity of mind is dependent on the support and backup of others. He’s well aware of this flaw, and it only makes him feel worse about himself—though he isn’t a self-loather by any means, Spin is simply unconvinced that he’s up to the task of being an Agent.

Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider

History: All details of an Agent’s personal life are strictly classified, even to other members; name, age, origins, this is information that only the Commander and the Agent themselves are privy to. Agents work and live for their job, and it’s thusly assumed they have no family, or are otherwise estranged.

The work of an Agent is not the most glamorous, nor the most recognized. Much of the population is still unaware of the organization at all, and this is for the best; failed missions can result in enemies, and even a successful mission can anger someone besides the target. But all Agents are there for the intangible reward; they work for the good of man, to quietly and anonymously help them through crisises big and small. They simply want to make the world a better place, helping make one optimist at a time.

It’s been about a year since Spin first joined the EBA. He loves the job and the other Agents have become his family and closest friends. Unfortunately, he still feels like a lower-class agent, without nearly as much skill or experience as the others, and the pressure of the job has greatly aggravated his tendency to panic in tense situations. But Spin’s kept his nerves in line by telling himself that he’ll be fine so long as he has the other agents to watch his back. But if he were to be on his own...well, something like that would never happen, would it?
